The Statesman is the official student newspaper of the University of Minnesota Duluth and is published by the UMD Board of Publications weekly during the academic year except for holidays and exam weeks.
The editorials, articles, opinions and other content within the Statesman are not intended to reflect University of Minnesota policy and are not necessarily those of the student body, faculty, or the University or its Duluth Campus.
The Student Service Fee dollars the Statesman receives covers printing costs for the academic year. The Statesman and the University of Minnesota are equal opportunity employers and educators.
